RainGirl
I was struck by the sight of a woman struggling across the street is a gale-lashed rain under a collapsing umbrella. After a few quick sketches, I carved an image of her in oak, which I subsequently displayed in Gallery Muir. Digby Veevers-Carter, a sculptor and bronze founder saw her, and offered to cast her in bronze. Here she is: my first essay in bronze sculpture.
